We’re thrilled to announce Philip Mei‘s promotion to Partner at Andersen in Canada. Since rejoining us in February 2022, Philip has excelled in U.S., Canadian, and cross-border tax consulting for individuals.

Philip specializes in tax planning and compliance for U.S. citizens and expatriates residing in Canada. His portfolio includes assisting U.S. citizens in Canada with their tax obligations, including those who may have been delinquent in their U.S. tax filings. Moreover, he is highly experienced in working with cross-border estates and trusts, as well as Canadian-based businesses with U.S. operations.

Philip’s achievements include helping clients save on payroll taxes, mitigating PFIC exposure, assisting U.S. citizens with overdue tax filings, and advising on trust taxation. He has also guided high-net-worth clients through estate and gift tax planning.
