First Look at 2026 Federal Budget Key Tax Measures

Andersen was represented at the 2026 federal budget lock-up in Ottawa by leaders from our Calgary and Montréal offices, giving our team early access to the Budget and an opportunity to engage directly with senior Department of Finance officials.

Drawing on that experience and our initial review of the Budget, we have highlighted below the tax measures and developments we believe will be most relevant to Canadian businesses, investors and individuals.

Most measures remain proposals and will require implementing legislation before becoming law.
