Zach Bronstein is Director, Tax in Andersen’s Canadian tax planning and advisory lines of service. He joined Andersen in 2024 and brings with him over 14 years of experience in Canadian tax planning and advisory, comprising progressive professional and leadership roles with mid-size firms, national firms, and Big Four international firms. Zach’s client base is primarily comprised of Canadian private companies, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth families. Zach’s practice areas are primarily M&A tax advisory services including tax planning for acquisitions, divestitures, funding, and liquidation events; reorganizations and restructuring; estate planning; succession planning; and owner-managed business tax planning. Zach also serves on the Board of Directors and as Board Treasurer for the Waterloo Wellington Estate Planning Council (“WWEPC”).
He has supported Canadian owner-managed businesses with tax minimization strategies for divestiture events in the $30-50M range, $50-100M range, as well as the $100-500M range. For clients with U.S. tax considerations, Zach collaborates with cross-border and U.S. tax colleagues to provide more comprehensive and holistic tax planning and strategies to help equip clients to minimize their overall combined integrated effective tax rate across their multiple tax jurisdictions.
When Zach is away from work, Zach enjoys spending time with his wife Zabeen and their three children away from technology and in the outdoors.
