Senior Data Analyst (Vancouver, BC)

The Opportunity

Andersen LLP is looking for a full-time Senior Data Analyst to join our Vancouver office. Reporting directly to the Director, Operations, and working closely with our IT Coordinator, the successful candidate will develop, implement, and manage data analysis processes to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making. The Senior Data Analyst will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify key performance indicators, and contribute to the development of data-driven solutions.

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible to support the business objectives of the firm as follows:

  • Plan, prioritize and complete multiple concurrent tasks in an environment of changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
  • Responsible for Zoho CRM design, support, administration
  • Create complex reports using Power BI using various sources such as SQL
  • Translate technical terms and requirements for non-technical people
  • Serve as technical SME for company apps and data
  • Lead IT projects to completion
  • Run SQL queries
  • Contribute to the strategy for implementing new technologies
  • Provide expert technical leadership for the development of Zoho CRM and Zoho One Apps
  • Support Staff with hardware/software issues
  • Assist the company with improving automation, processes and efficiencies using various tools like Power Automate, scripts, or other tools
  • Other related duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Hands-on SQL experience / SQL queries
  • Web development experience
  • Microsoft 365/Azure administration experience
  • Power BI experience
  • Python, PowerShell, or other program language experience
  • MS Windows, MS Office, and Hardware troubleshooting
  • SharePoint Online, Azure, Entra ID, Teams, Windows 10/11
  • Zoho CRM and Zoho One Apps
  • Power Automate experience and other MS 365 automation tools

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in SQL database administration, software/web development
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and effective time management
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills paired with the ability to actively listen
  • Demonstrated high-level analytical skills with an ability to identify issues and initiate their resolution
  • 3+ years’ experience in SQL database programming/administration, CRM development/administration (preferably Zoho), web programming experience, Microsoft Azure, supporting Microsoft Windows and hardware /software support
