Andersen LLP is looking for a full-time Finance Manager. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance in the Vancouver office, the successful candidate will be able to ensure timely completion of month-end closing and financial reporting as well as providing essential and integral support service to our teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead month-end closing and financial reporting
- Reconcile major general ledger accounts
- Prepare weekly management reports
- Perform quarterly expense analysis
- Maintain CRM system to ensure clients are billed properly and provide support service to other team members
- Process government filing and remittances, such as GST, PST, Non-resident withholding tax and WorkSafeBC
- Support in the year-end process
- Assist in preparation of budget, forecast and cash flow projections
- Work with Director of Finance on controls and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Education in accounting. Preference would be given to CPA or working towards CPA designation
- At least 4 years of experience in accounting, including 2 years with month-end closing
- Keen attention to detail, accurate and eager to learn
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and reliable
- Demonstrates initiative, follow-through, and problem-solving ability
- Dedicated team player who is also capable of working independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 50

This position will require the successful candidate to be physically present in the
office 2 – 5 days per week depending on the workload with the remainder of the time performed remotely.
